In middle school I began to think about what I wanted to do in the future. At first I wanted to be a chef, but discover that I’m really not that good at cooking and I don’t have the patients for it, so I thought about what else I wanted to do. Than it came to my mind, other than food I liked fashion. Since there’s a variety of a job within the fashion industry, I knew I wouldn’t have a problem with losing interest or passion for it. Doing research on the different types of careers in the fashion industry, I chose to aspire to become a fashion buyer or something in merchandising. Now that I have achieved my goal getting in to The Art Institute, I spending time trying to excel in my career by getting as much retail experience as I can, staying focus on what I want to do, and keeping my passion. My plan when I graduate is too buy clothing for thrifts stores or maybe buy historical costumes for a museum. Since there’s no costume museum in Las Vegas, I probably would like to intern for a museum out of state then come back and try to open up my own. It would be a museum/thrift store. Its way of me combining two things I enjoy history and fashion, and that’s what I’m determined to do.
