Slash is a clothing label that I created to extend my already existing brand missanalvomit. The line consists of shirts, accessories, and underwear. And it visually expresses the views of the character missanalvomit, using propaganda, humor, and sarcasm. The personal meaning behind the name was first, it’s simple, second when I thought of slash I thought of the symbol, I looked on my keyboard and the first thing I looked at was the back slash button. I love the fact its vertical and that it was just a line, lines are never ending like my thoughts, to me that fit perfectly. The views of missanalvomit are strong and impulsive, without a doubt her opinion matters and she always has something to say. Either its sarcastic or serious missvom (missanalvomit) thoughts never end.
